Housing planned for former Govan tram depot

Glasgow Housing Association has submitted plans to build 105 homes at the former Govan tram depot, Glasgow. Clad in sand coloured brick entrances are delineated by projecting details with corners and closes highlighted by purple toned copper cladding. Overseen by Collective Architecture the project will see the former tram offices refurbished to form 20 properties together with a new build element on land to the rear offering a further 85. All parts of the site are graded to provide level access.” “The access route has a mix of hard and soft landscaping to create a sense of place while the areas to the rear of the blocks are formed into private gardens and courtyard areas.
