Visualisation sector consolidates as Soluis acquire Inlightin

Soluis Group co-CEO, Scott Grant said: “We have long respected Inlightin’s position in our market and are delighted to be in a position to join forces. Merging with the Soluis Studios brand the Inlightin name will be discontinued whilst its staff have already relocated to Soluis’ South Frederick Street head office, where they will continue to work on projects ranging from Atlantic Square, The Higgs Centre and Buchanan Quarter to City of Glasgow College, 1 West Regent Street, 110 Queen Street, AECC, Holyrood North, Marischal Square and Skypark. “This marks another key milestone in the evolution of the business and positions us well to lead the growing requirement for innovation in how our clients engage their audiences – using an improved blend of visual media and interactive solutions.”
Former Inlightin MD Greg Williamson added: “This move is a natural convergence of like minds and complementary skill sets. The friendly takeover is the latest in a series by the Glasgow based business following its buyout of Bristol based KairosVR in April and Edinburgh University’s Pixogram in May, as it seeks to accrue the creative and financial muscle needed to produce augmented reality and virtual reality content for mobile devices – whilst gearing up for an anticipated explosion in consumer VR.
